一、学生情况
二年级学生,属于低段,已经初步掌握了一些学习用品,生活用品,身体部位,交通工具,动物种类和水果种类的单词,能够用英语进行一些简单的日常生活对话。合理和生理年龄都比较小,对形象感观的物体感兴趣,容易激活。
二、教材情况
1.本课主要句型在前面几堂课中已经有所提及,学生对这个句型相对来说已经比较熟悉,在这堂课中,教师需注意学生的语音语调并加强训练。
2.出现了一个新句型Its for you.以及新的`特殊疑问词why,但教师不用做语法上的详细解释,学生只需了解它的意思和使用场合并且学会使用即可。

歌曲Happy birthday to you.课文中要求学生掌握,但对现在的学生来说,这一首生日快乐歌早已耳熟能详,因此不做重点要求,教师只需注意学生的语音语调。三、教具准备
教师准备:各种形状的名片,几盘水果拼盘,牙签,VCD,水果刀,一次性创可贴(安全防范);学生准备:自己设计的名片,带水果和食物。
