When I arrived at school, I saw my best friend Emily waiting for me at the gate. We hugged each other and walked to our classroom together. She told us that this year we would be learning about multiplication, division, and even starting cursive writing.
During recess, Emily and I played hopscotch and talked about all the fun things we did over the summer. I told her about the camping trip my family went on and she told me about the beach vacation she took with her parents. It was so nice to catch up with each other after not seeing each other for so long.
In the afternoon, we had our first math lesson and Mrs. Johnson taught us how to multiply two-digit numbers. It was a bit challenging at first, but with her help, I was able to figure it out. I felt proud of myself for understanding the new concept and couldn't wait to practice more at home.
As the bell rang at the end of the day, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness for the rest of the school year. I knew that there would be new challenges and adventures ahead, but I was ready to face them head-on with the support of my friends and teachers.

Mrs. Johnson showed us a real plant and explained how the roots absorb water and nutrients from the soil, while the leaves absorb sunlight for photosynthesis. It was so fascinating to learn about how plants grow and survive in nature.
During lunchtime, I sat with Emily and our other friends in the cafeteria. We chatted about our favorite subjects in school and what we wanted to be when we grew up. Emily said she wanted to be a veterinarian so she could help sick animals, while I said I wanted to be a teacher so I could inspire other students to love learning.
In the afternoon, we had our first art class and Mrs. Anderson, our art teacher, showed us how to draw a still life of fruit. She demonstrated how to use different shading techniques to make the fruit look realistic on paper. I was amazed at how talented some of my classmates were at drawing and felt inspired to improve my own art skills.
After school, Emily and I walked home together and talked about all the fun things we did during the day. We promised to study together for our upcoming math test and help each other with any difficult homework assignments. I felt grateful to have such a supportive friend by my side.
As I sat down to write in my diary before bed, I reflected on how lucky I was to have such wonderful teachers and friends in my life. I knew that fourth grade was going to be a year full of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories.

虽然说寒假并不长，但对我而言却如隔三秋。在这个寒假中，没有老师贴心的话语，没有同学爽朗的笑声，我感到十分寂寞，我常常回想起同学们在一起的快乐时光，那欢声在我耳畔回荡着，熬过了一天又一天，一周又一周，终于迎来了开学，我兴奋不已。
开学头一天，同学们个个昂首挺胸、神气洋洋的。大多数同学一进教室第一件事就是告诉伙伴：“今年拿到了多少压岁钱？买了几件衣服？”个个说得露出了愉快的笑容。当然，也有同学沮丧着脸，向同伴倾诉自己的不愉快。
家长们报名报好了，也在教室外谈论自己孩子的事，有的家长说：“我家孩子的成绩可好啦！”有的说：“哎，谁像你家命这么好，生出个聪明娃，我家呀，没缘。”有的说：“我家孩子的成绩也挺好的。”每一位成绩好的.家长都在夸耀自己的孩子有多么的好。
哎，同学、老师们都七嘴八舌的。这时，老师开口了，也就是那位年轻漂亮的班主任徐老师呗！她严肃地对我们说：“同学们，度过了一个寒假，应该迎来了我们新的学期，从今以后，要把所有的精力放在学习上，不要迷恋过去。”老师说得这句话，让我回味无穷。对！一个寒假过去了，是应该把学习放在第一位。同时，我也下定决心要把每一门功课扎实牢。因为曾经有一位老师对我说过：作为一名好学生不光自己成绩要好，还要带动全班同学一起进步。所以这学期我会主动去帮助那些差同学，当然好同学之间取长补短，互相帮助，那么我们班就一定会超越其他班。

今天是新学期开学的第一天，对我来说，也是最难忘的一天。
早晨，当背着新书包、穿着新衣服的我正要赶到学校时，却天工不作美，顷刻雷声大作、乌云密布，雨哗啦啦地下了起来，真是“巧”极了！我一下子就被淋成了一只“落汤鸡”。
好不容易匆匆忙忙赶到教室，抬头一看，同学们依然满面春风、神采飞扬的坐在位子上，等待着上课铃声的响起。我也赶忙坐到自己的位置上。上课铃声随后响了起来，首先进来的是代我们数学课的赵老师。只见她轻盈的步伐走进教室，同学们也立即安静了下来。赵老师清了清嗓子，说道：“同学们，今天是你们升班后的第一节数学课，下面请你们在作业本的第一页写下你们自己本学期的奋斗目标。”老师的话音刚落，同学们就都在苦思冥想地酝酿起来，然后郑重其事地写下自己在新学期的愿望。
第三节课是科学课，在这节课前还意外地发生了一些小遗憾呢！因为我不知道今天有科学课，所以妈妈没有给我带科学书。我想：既然没带科学书，那就看一会儿阅读书吧！于是，我就迫不及待地拿出我心爱的《查理与巧克力工厂》津津有味地读了起来。正读到精彩之处，科学老师却板着脸走了过来。她严厉地对我说：“科学课不许看阅读书，快把书交给我！”我流着泪，极不情愿地磨磨蹭蹭地把书交给了老师。我好心疼啊！那可是爸爸刚给我从网上买的新书啊。
我暗下决心，以后课上我一定会好好表现，争取给老师留下好印象，把书再要回来！
这就是开学第一天，有喜悦，也有遗憾，还有我久久不能平静的心情。
啊，难忘的开学第一天！
