初二英语周记 篇一

This week, I have been focusing on improving my English speaking skills. I realized that I have been too shy to practice speaking English with my classmates, so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and start conversations with them in English.

I started by asking my friends about their weekend plans and sharing my own. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but as I continued to practice, I found that my confidence in speaking English was growing. My friends were also very supportive and patient with me, which helped me feel more at ease.

During English class, I volunteered to answer questions and participate in group discussions. I made sure to speak slowly and clearly, and to ask for help if I didn't understand something. I also practiced reading English passages out loud to improve my pronunciation.

By the end of the week, I felt much more comfortable speaking English. I was able to hold conversations with my classmates without feeling nervous, and I even noticed improvements in my pronunciation and fluency. I realized that the key to improving my English speaking skills was to practice regularly and not be afraid to make mistakes.

I am excited to continue working on my English speaking skills and to see how much progress I can make in the coming weeks.

This week, I focused on expanding my English vocabulary. I realized that I have been using the same words and phrases over and over again, and I wanted to challenge myself to learn new words and expressions.

I started by making a list of new vocabulary words and their meanings. I made flashcards to help me memorize the words and practiced using them in sentences. I also downloaded a vocabulary-building app on my phone to help me learn new words every day.

During English class, I made an effort to use my new vocabulary words in conversations and discussions. I found that by incorporating these words into my speech, I was able to express myself more clearly and effectively. My classmates also noticed my improved vocabulary and complimented me on my progress.

Outside of class, I read English books and articles to expose myself to new words and phrases. I made a habit of looking up any words I didn't know and adding them to my vocabulary list. I also practiced writing sentences using my new vocabulary words to reinforce my learning.

By the end of the week, I had significantly expanded my English vocabulary. I felt more confident in my ability to communicate in English and was excited to continue learning new words and expressions. I realized that by actively seeking out new vocabulary and practicing using it, I could improve my English skills and become a more fluent speaker.

I am looking forward to continuing to expand my English vocabulary and to seeing how it will enhance my overall language proficiency.

　　《Beautiful Sky 美丽的天空》

　　The star in the sky were twinkling.Some were crowded,and others were separate.Then I found the stars were not the same color.There were many colors,white,gray,light blue,orange,and so on.It was really beautiful.At that time,the sky was like blue damask decorated by millions of bright diamonds.

　　星星在空中闪烁。有些挤在一起，另外一些零零落落。接着，我发现了一些不同颜色的星星。它们的颜色各异，()白色的，灰色的，天蓝色的，橙色等等。真是太美了。那时的天空就像是由无数闪亮的钻石装饰而成的蓝色锦缎。

　　Looking up the sky,I saw the moon.It was like a naughty child.Sometimes it hid in the clouds and sometimes it got out of the clouds, it seemsed to play"hide and seek"with me.The stars around the moon,however,were as girls,hiding themselves in the clouds.

　　望着天空，我看见月亮。它就像个淘气的孩子。它时而藏在云朵后面时而又露面，仿佛正在和我玩躲迷藏。星星围绕着月亮，怎么说呢，她们都像女孩子，把自己藏在云朵后。

　　Oh,what a beautiful sky!

　　《My Favourate Season 我最喜欢的季节》

　　How glad I am that summer has come!

　　真高兴夏天来临了！

　　I like summer best because I can have a very happy time then. Every summer I stay at my uncle's house in the country for some time and enjoy the life there. I can also catch worms that are not found in cities. In addition, I can see many kinds of birds. I think the country is certainly a better place than the city for vacation.

　　我最喜欢夏天因为我能有一段非常开心的时光。每个夏天我有时住在乡间叔叔家里非常开心。我还能抓到城市里见不到的虫子。另外，我还能看到许多种类的小鸟。我想在乡下度假绝对是个更好的去处。
