伊索寓言中的蝙蝠的英文故事 篇一

Once upon a time, in the forest, there lived a bat. The bat was a very unique creature because it could both fly like a bird and crawl like a mouse. One day, the bat was flying around when it saw a group of birds chirping happily in the trees. The bat decided to join them, thinking that it might be fun.

However, when the birds saw the bat approaching, they stopped chirping and looked at it with confusion. One of the birds asked, "What are you doing here, bat? You don't belong with us."

The bat was taken aback by the birds' reaction. It tried to explain that it could fly just like them and wanted to be part of their group. But the birds just laughed and said, "You may have wings, but you are not a bird. You are a bat, and bats are not welcome among us."

Feeling rejected and hurt, the bat flew away and landed on the ground. It saw a group of mice scurrying around and thought that maybe they would accept it as one of their own. The bat approached the mice and said, "I can crawl just like you. Can I join your group?"

The mice looked at the bat with suspicion and fear. One of them squeaked, "You may have claws, but you are not a mouse. You are a bat, and bats are not welcome among us."

Heartbroken and feeling lost, the bat flew back to its cave. It realized that it didn't truly belong with either the birds or the mice. It was a creature caught between two worlds, never fully accepted by either.

From that day on, the bat decided to embrace its uniqueness. It no longer tried to fit in with the birds or the mice but instead celebrated its ability to fly and crawl. The bat learned to be proud of who it was, even if others couldn't understand or accept it.

And so, the bat lived happily in its cave, content with being different from the rest.

伊索寓言中的蝙蝠的英文故事 篇二

In the forest of Aesop's fables, there was a bat who was known for its ability to fly at night and crawl during the day. The bat was a mysterious creature, often misunderstood by other animals. One day, the bat decided to hold a meeting with the other animals to try and clear up some of the misconceptions about itself.

During the meeting, the bat explained to the animals that it was neither a bird nor a mouse but a unique creature with its own special abilities. The bat shared how it could soar through the night sky like a bird and scurry along the forest floor like a mouse. It hoped that by sharing its story, the other animals would come to accept and appreciate its differences.

However, the other animals were skeptical and wary of the bat. They couldn't understand how a creature could possess such contrasting traits. The owl scoffed, "You are neither a bird of prey like me nor a mouse like the rest of the rodents. How can we trust a creature that is neither here nor there?"

The fox chimed in, "You are too strange and unpredictable for us to rely on. We cannot accept someone who doesn't fit neatly into our categories."

Feeling dejected but determined, the bat flew away from the meeting and retreated to its cave. As it hung upside down, deep in thought, the bat realized that it didn't need the approval of others to be happy. It was proud of its unique abilities and didn't need to conform to the expectations of the other animals.

From then on, the bat continued to fly at night and crawl during the day, embracing its differences and living life on its own terms. It no longer sought acceptance from others but found contentment in being true to itself.

And so, the bat thrived in the forest, a symbol of individuality and self-acceptance in a world that often struggled to understand the beauty of diversity.

Shortly afterwards the Bat again fellon the ground, and was carght by another Weasel, whom helikewise entreated not to eat him. The Weasel said that hehad a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him thathe was not a mouse, but a bat; and thus a second timeescaped. It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.
