One sunny afternoon, Sarah was walking home from school when she heard a faint whimpering sound coming from a bush. Curious, she went closer and found a tiny puppy hiding there. The puppy looked scared and lost.
Sarah gently picked up the puppy and decided to take it home. She named him Lucky because she felt lucky to have found him. Lucky quickly became a part of Sarah's family and they had many fun adventures together.
As time passed, Sarah noticed that Lucky had a special talent. He could sniff out lost things. Whenever someone in the neighborhood lost their keys or a toy, they would ask Lucky for help. Lucky would sniff around and always manage to find the lost item.
One day, Sarah's friend Emily lost her favorite necklace. She was very upset as it was a gift from her grandmother. Sarah immediately called Lucky to help. Lucky sniffed around the house and eventually led them to the backyard where he started digging. To everyone's surprise, Lucky had found Emily's necklace buried in the dirt.
Emily was overjoyed and thanked Lucky for his amazing talent. From that day on, Lucky became a local hero and was known as the best lost item finder in the neighborhood.

Title: The Magical Paintbrush
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young girl named Lily. Lily loved to draw and paint, but she only had one old paintbrush that she had inherited from her grandmother. Despite its age, the paintbrush had a magical power - whatever Lily painted with it would come to life.
One day, Lily decided to paint a beautiful garden filled with colorful flowers. As she painted, the flowers started blooming and the garden came alive with butterflies and birds. Lily was amazed by the magic of her paintbrush.
Word of Lily's magical paintbrush spread quickly and soon people from all over the village came to see her creations. They were mesmerized by the lifelike paintings that seemed to jump off the canvas.
One day, an evil sorcerer heard about Lily's paintbrush and decided he wanted it for himself. He sneaked into Lily's house and stole the paintbrush while she was sleeping. The next day, the village woke up to a dark and gloomy sky. The sun refused to shine and the flowers wilted away.
Lily knew that something was wrong and realized that the sorcerer had taken her paintbrush. Determined to save her village, Lily set out to confront the sorcerer. Using her creativity and courage, Lily painted a powerful storm that swept through the sorcerer's castle, washing away all his evil spells.
The sorcerer was defeated and Lily's paintbrush was returned to her. The village rejoiced as the sun came out again and the flowers bloomed once more. Lily's magical paintbrush had saved the day.
From then on, Lily used her paintbrush to create beautiful works of art that brought joy and happiness to everyone in the village. She knew that with a little bit of magic and a lot of imagination, anything was possible.
And so, Lily continued to paint her way through life, spreading love and wonder wherever she went.

(Kangaroos and the Cage)
One day the staff members of a zoo called a meeting to discuss the problem--how to deal with the kangaroos that were found out of the cage. They came to the conclusion that the cage was placed too low and decided to raise it from one to two mete
rs high. But the next day the kangaroos were still at large and they again raised the cage to three meters.
Quite beyond their expectation the next morning they saw the kangaroos still free to go about. They were alarmed and determined to go to all the length by raising the cage to the height of ten meters.
Later a giraffe, while chatting with some kangaroos, asked them, “Do you think they will go on raising your cage?”
“Hard to say,” said a kangaroo, “if they continue forgetting to fasten the cage door.”
“很难说。”袋鼠说,“如果他们再继续忘记关门的话!”
风和太阳
(The Wind And The Sun)
One day the wind said to the sun, “Look at that man walking along the road. I can get his cloak off more quickly than you can.”
“We will see about that,” said the sun. “I will let you try first.”
So the wind tried to make the man take off his cloak. He blew and blew, but the man only pulled his cloak more closely around himself.
“I give up,” said the wind at last. “I cannot get his cloak off.” Then the sun tried. He shone as hard as he could. The man soon became hot and took off his cloak.
