Today, my classmates and I went on a field trip to the zoo and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We were all very excited as we boarded the bus early in the morning. The journey to the zoo took about an hour and during that time, we chatted and laughed, eagerly discussing the different animals we hoped to see.
When we arrived at the zoo, the weather was perfect - sunny with a gentle breeze. The first enclosure we visited was the lion enclosure. As we approached, we could hear the mighty roars of the lions. It was both thrilling and intimidating at the same time. The lions were majestic, with their golden fur and powerful presence. We were lucky to witness the lions being fed and it was amazing to watch them devour their meals with great gusto.
Next, we moved on to the monkey enclosure. The monkeys were incredibly playful and mischievous. They swung from branch to branch, making funny faces at us and occasionally even throwing small objects our way. It was amusing to observe their antics and we couldn't help but burst into laughter.
One of the highlights of the trip was the dolphin show. We sat in a large amphitheater and watched in awe as the dolphins performed various tricks. They jumped through hoops, balanced balls on their noses, and even interacted with their trainers. The crowd cheered and clapped in amazement. It was truly a spectacle to behold.
As the day went on, we explored more enclosures and saw a wide range of animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even penguins. We took numerous photos to capture the memories of this incredible day. We also learned about the importance of wildlife conservation and the efforts being made to protect endangered species.
By the end of the day, we were exhausted but extremely satisfied. The trip to the zoo had been educational, entertaining, and had allowed us to appreciate the beauty and diversity of nature. As we boarded the bus to head back to school, we all agreed that this was a trip we would never forget.

I’m reading George Eliot’s works The Mill on the Floss & Adam Bede with great interest. The former at school and the latter at home. I have long finished her Middlemarch to which I first listened in complete puzzlement on the radio many years ago. And last year I read it on the Net. It is The Mill on the Floss that moves me most among the three works above-mentioned. I couldn’t keep back my tears twice during my reading. When Mr Tulliver gets irritated by quarreling with Mrs G, one of his wife’s sisters, he’s also displeased with his sister’s husband and rushes to claim the money lent to them for repaying Mrs G. But he regrets deeply soon after pressing the poor couple and cancels the claim for he hates to see Tom hard on Maggie in the future as he does towards his sister. The second time I shed tears was today when I read the family council after Mr Tulliver goes bankrupt. The tragic atmosphere is extremely moving.

How time flies!After only on hour,we got to Zhejiang University.The university is pretty,beautiful and large.The Teaching buildings and student’s building are very new.I couldn’t wait to go into the student’s building.The condition of the flat is good.The air conditioner is prepared for us.The headteacher has a b mind,no matter how hot it was,he still helped us to solve the problems.
In the afternoon,we had our first class.Mrs Zheng asked us 10 questions,and we answered them.
After having dinner,my friend and I went to the supermarket to buy some fruit.

The New Year began, and the streets were filled with joy.
Look! All the houses were afred with red couplets, the red firecracker was deafening, people visited each other, and the whole town was full of laughter!
The street. The business of the shop is booming! As soon as the cargo was stolen, a few bold boys put up their small guns, and the frightened girls ran away. They were still laughing.
At home, the children were playing, the adults were talking and talking about plans for the future. By noon, everyone was making New Year dishes, and the whole street was full of fragrance.
There was no laughing, no wine, no smell, and all the houses were closed and dead.
In the evening, it is lively again. The family come out to go shopping, very warm. The sky, a bunch of fireworks set off, colorful, beautiful! From time to time, the neon lights of the street lit up the faces of people.
What a wonderful New Year! How sweet! I love New Year!
