Throughout the day, I had different classes with different teachers. Each teacher was friendly and made an effort to make me feel included. I was relieved to find that the subjects we were learning were similar to my old school, so I didn't feel completely lost.

During lunch break, I sat alone at first, feeling a bit lonely. However, a girl named Emily came over and asked if she could join me. We started talking and discovered that we had a lot in common. She introduced me to her group of friends, and suddenly I had a little circle of friends of my own. It felt nice to belong.

In the afternoon, we had a group project in English class. I was assigned to a group with three other students. At first, I was worried that they wouldn't want to work with me since I was new. However, they were very friendly and included me in their discussions. We worked well together and ended up finishing the project ahead of time.

At the end of the day, I realized that my first day at a new school wasn't as scary as I had imagined. The teachers and students were kind and welcoming, and I made some new friends. I'm looking forward to the rest of the school year and all the new experiences it will bring.

Another highlight of the trip was the lion feeding. We watched as the zookeepers threw chunks of meat into the lion enclosure. The lions pounced on the meat, tearing it apart with their powerful jaws. It was a thrilling sight to see these majestic creatures up close and witness their hunting instincts.

Towards the end of the trip, we had the opportunity to interact with some of the animals at the petting zoo. I was able to pet a baby goat and hold a snake. It was a bit scary at first, but also exciting to touch animals that I had only seen in books before.

Overall, the field trip to the zoo was a fantastic experience. Not only did I get to see a wide variety of animals, but I also learned so much about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts. It made me appreciate the beauty and importance of nature even more.
