My Weekend

Last weekend, I had a great time with my friends. On Saturday morning, we went to the park. The weather was sunny and warm. We played football and flew kites. I scored two goals in the football match and my friend, Lily, flew her kite the highest. We laughed and cheered for each other.

In the afternoon, we visited the museum. There were many interesting exhibits. I learned about ancient Chinese history and saw the artifacts from the Tang Dynasty. It was fascinating! After that, we went to a café and enjoyed delicious ice cream. We talked and laughed, having a wonderful time.

On Sunday, I went to the beach with my family. We swam in the clear blue sea and built sandcastles. I collected seashells and made a beautiful necklace. We had a picnic on the beach and my mom prepared tasty sandwiches and fruit. It was a relaxing and enjoyable day.

I had so much fun last weekend. I played, learned, and spent quality time with my loved ones. It was a memorable weekend that I will cherish forever.

A Memorable Trip

During the summer vacation, my family and I went on a trip to Beijing. It was an exciting adventure and I was thrilled to visit the capital city of China.

On the first day, we visited the Great Wall. It was magnificent! I climbed to the top and took many photos. The view was breathtaking. In the afternoon, we went to the Forbidden City. I learned about the ancient emperors and their lives. The architecture was impressive and the palace was grand. I felt like I had traveled back in time.

The next day, we went to Tiananmen Square. It was huge! I saw the national flag flying high and felt a sense of pride. We also visited the Summer Palace and took a boat ride on the beautiful lake. The scenery was picturesque and I enjoyed every moment.

During our trip, we tried different local dishes. I tasted Peking duck, dumplings, and Beijing noodles. They were all delicious and I couldn't get enough of the food. I also bought souvenirs for my friends and family, such as traditional Chinese fans and keychains with the Great Wall on them.

On the last day, we visited the Temple of Heaven. It was a place of worship and I admired the ancient architecture. I made a wish and hoped it would come true. As we left Beijing, I felt grateful for the amazing experience and the memories I had made.

Visiting Beijing was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I learned about the history and culture of China and had a lot of fun. It was a trip that I will never forget.
