A Memorable Trip to Beijing
Date: October 10th, 2020
Today, my family and I went on a trip to Beijing, the capital city of China. It was an unforgettable experience that I would like to share in this diary entry.
We started our journey early in the morning, excitedly boarding the train to Beijing. The train ride was comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. After a few hours, we finally arrived at Beijing Railway Station.
Our first stop was the iconic Great Wall of China. As we stood at the foot of the wall, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for the ancient architecture. We decided to climb up one of the sections of the wall, and the view from the top was breathtaking. The wall stretched endlessly into the distance, and I marveled at the incredible feat of human engineering.
Next, we visited the Forbidden City, a historic palace complex that served as the imperial residence for centuries. Walking through the grand halls and courtyards, I was transported back in time to the days of the emperors. The intricate designs and vibrant colors of the buildings were truly a sight to behold.
In the afternoon, we explored the bustling streets of Beijing, trying various local delicacies. We indulged in Peking duck, a famous Beijing dish known for its crispy skin and tender meat. The flavors exploded in my mouth, and I couldn't resist having seconds.
To end our trip, we watched a traditional Chinese opera performance. The colorful costumes, graceful movements, and melodious music mesmerized me. It was a delightful way to immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of China.
As the day came to a close, we headed back to the train station, tired but satisfied. The memories we made in Beijing will stay with us forever. It was a truly memorable trip that deepened my appreciation for the history, culture, and beauty of China.

Today, I had the opportunity to visit the vibrant city of New York. It was an exhilarating adventure that I will cherish for a lifetime.
As soon as I arrived, I was immediately captivated by the towering skyscrapers and bustling streets. The energy of the city was infectious, and I couldn't wait to explore. My first stop was Times Square, where the flashing lights and billboards created a mesmerizing spectacle. The hustle and bustle of the city was at its peak, and I felt like I was in the center of the world.
Next, I visited the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and hope. As I sailed towards the statue on a ferry, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. Standing at the base of Lady Liberty, I was reminded of the countless immigrants who came to America in search of a better life.
In the afternoon, I strolled through Central Park, a serene oasis amidst the concrete jungle. The park was filled with joggers, families, and musicians, creating a lively atmosphere. I rented a bicycle and explored the park's winding paths and beautiful lakes. It was a peaceful escape from the bustling city streets.
No trip to New York would be complete without a visit to the Empire State Building. As I ascended to the observation deck, I was greeted by a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The vast expanse of buildings and the twinkling lights below left me speechless. It was a moment I will never forget.
To end the day, I watched a Broadway show. The talent and passion of the performers were evident in every note and every step. It was a magical experience that transported me to a different world.
As I boarded the plane back home, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness. New York had captured my heart with its vibrant energy and endless possibilities. It was an adventure that opened my eyes to the diversity and excitement of city life.
In conclusion, my trip to New York City was an exciting adventure filled with unforgettable experiences. From the bustling streets of Times Square to the peaceful serenity of Central Park, I fell in love with the city and its vibrant atmosphere. New York truly is the city that never sleeps, and I can't wait to visit again.

英语日记 篇六
An English proverb says that time is money. I consider it (this) wrong. Why? Because we all know that we can earn money be work but can not in any way get back time (in anyway)。 For this reason, we may (can) say that time is more valuable than money.
Many people do not know the value of time. It (this) is indeed a great pity. We must bear (keep) in mind that wasting time is equal to wasting your life.
