The Halloween Party
Last week, my school organized a Halloween party. It was a very exciting event and everyone was looking forward to it. We were allowed to come to school dressed up in costumes and there were various activities planned for us.
In the morning, we had a costume parade. All the students walked around the school, showing off their creative and spooky costumes. I dressed up as a witch and my best friend was a vampire. There were also students dressed as ghosts, zombies, superheroes, and even some famous movie characters. It was so much fun to see all the different costumes and guess who was behind the masks.
After the parade, we had a Halloween-themed assembly. Our principal told us the history and traditions of Halloween. We learned that Halloween originated from an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain and it was believed that on this day, the spirits of the dead would come back to earth. That's why people would dress up as scary creatures and carve pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns to ward off evil spirits.
In the afternoon, we had a series of games and activities. There was a pumpkin decorating contest, where we could use paints, stickers, and other materials to create the most unique and creative pumpkins. There was also a mummy wrapping competition, where we had to wrap our classmates in toilet paper to make them look like mummies. It was hilarious to see everyone covered in white from head to toe.
The highlight of the party was the haunted house. Our school transformed one of the classrooms into a spooky haunted house with creepy decorations and scary sounds. We had to walk through the dark room, trying to avoid the ghosts and monsters hiding in the corners. It was a bit scary, but also a lot of fun.
At the end of the party, we all received goodie bags filled with candies and treats. We also took a group photo to remember this special Halloween celebration. It was a fantastic day and I can't wait for next year's Halloween party.

The Halloween Party
Last night, my family and I attended a Halloween party in our neighborhood. It was a wonderful event filled with laughter, costumes, and spooky decorations.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the host who was dressed as a friendly ghost. The entire house was transformed into a haunted mansion, with fake spider webs, skeletons, and eerie music playing in the background. It was both creepy and fascinating at the same time.
All the guests came dressed up in various costumes. There were witches, vampires, zombies, superheroes, and even a few cute animals. I decided to dress up as a black cat, complete with a tail and whiskers. My mom and dad went as a witch and a werewolf, and my little brother was a pirate. We all looked so different and it was amazing to see everyone's creativity.
The party had many activities for both children and adults. There was a pumpkin carving station, where we could choose a pumpkin and carve our own designs. I created a scary face with sharp fangs, while my brother carved a silly face with a big grin. It was messy but so much fun.
There was also a costume contest, where everyone had to show off their costumes and do a short performance. I was a bit nervous, but I mustered up the courage to walk on the stage and show off my cat moves. The audience cheered and I felt so proud.
Another highlight of the party was the haunted maze in the backyard. It was a dark maze with hidden scares and surprises at every turn. We had to navigate through the maze, trying not to get scared by the ghosts and ghouls hiding in the shadows. It was both thrilling and terrifying, but we managed to make it out without too many screams.
Throughout the night, we enjoyed delicious Halloween-themed treats such as pumpkin cupcakes, spider-shaped cookies, and green punch. We also played games like bobbing for apples and pin the tail on the black cat. It was a night filled with laughter, excitement, and lots of candy.
When it was time to leave, we said goodbye to our friends and thanked the host for the amazing party. As we walked back home, I couldn't help but feel grateful for such a memorable Halloween experience. It was a night of magic, fun, and spooky surprises that I will always cherish.

Luke is our English teacher from Australia. He lead us to play some games together. The “trick of treat” is our favorite game. We went to the supermarket and sang a song “trick of treat, trick of treat, happy Halloween, happy Halloween, I want candy, I want candy, please give me, please give me!” Put our hands out and sing loudly till we have a lot of candies.
It was a happy time for us. We played games, ate candies, and sang songs in the party. This is a very funny and wonderful Halloween party.
