英语作文火车与飞机旅游的利弊 篇一
In recent years, both train and airplane travel have become popular choices for tourists. While train travel allows for a more scenic and relaxed journey, airplane travel offers speed and convenience. In this essay, I will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both modes of transportation for tourism.
Train travel has its own unique advantages. Firstly, train journeys often provide stunning views of the landscape, allowing passengers to enjoy the beauty of the countryside or cityscapes along the way. Unlike airplanes, trains also offer more space for movement, allowing passengers to stretch their legs and walk around. Additionally, train travel tends to be less stressful and more comfortable than flying. Passengers do not have to worry about strict security checks or baggage restrictions, and they can enjoy the journey at a leisurely pace.
However, train travel also has its drawbacks. The most obvious disadvantage is the time it takes to reach the destination. Trains are generally slower than airplanes, especially for long-distance travel. This can be a major inconvenience for tourists who have limited time or want to visit multiple destinations in a short period. Moreover, train schedules can sometimes be unreliable, leading to delays or cancellations. This can disrupt travel plans and cause frustration for passengers.
On the other hand, airplane travel offers several benefits for tourism. The most significant advantage is the speed. Airplanes can cover long distances in a short amount of time, allowing tourists to reach their destinations quickly and efficiently. This is especially beneficial for international travel or visiting far-off locations. Additionally, airplanes provide a higher level of comfort and convenience. Passengers can relax in spacious seats, enjoy in-flight entertainment, and have access to various amenities. Moreover, airlines often offer a wider range of destinations, making it easier for tourists to explore different parts of the world.
However, there are also disadvantages to airplane travel. Firstly, air travel can be expensive, especially during peak seasons. The cost of airline tickets, baggage fees, and other expenses can add up quickly and become a burden for budget-conscious travelers. Additionally, airports are often located far from city centers, requiring additional transportation and increasing travel time. Moreover, the process of going through security checks and boarding procedures can be time-consuming and stressful.
In conclusion, both train and airplane travel have their advantages and disadvantages for tourism. Train travel offers scenic views, relaxation, and a more leisurely pace, while airplane travel provides speed, convenience, and access to a wider range of destinations. The choice between the two modes of transportation ultimately depends on the preferences and priorities of the individual traveler.
英语作文火车与飞机旅游的利弊 篇三
英语作文火车与飞机旅游的利弊
People travelling long distances frequently have to decide whether they would prefer to go by land, sea, or air. Hardly anyone can positively enjoy sitting in a train
for more than a few hours. Train compartments soon get cramped and stuffy. It is almost impossible to take your mind off the journey. Reading is only a partial solution, for the monotonous rhythm of the wheels clicking on the rails soon lulls you to sl-ee-p. During the day, sl-ee-p comes in snatches. At night, when you really wish to go to sl-ee-p, you rarely manage to do so. If you are lucky enough to get a couchette, you spend half the night staring at the small blue light in the ceiling, or fumbling to find your passport when you croa frontier. Inevitably you arrive at your destination almost exhausted. Long car journeys are even lepleasant, for it is quite impossible even to read. On motor-ways you can, at least, travel fairly safely at high speeds, but more often than not, the greater part of the journey is spent on narrow, bumpy roads which are crowded with traffic. By comparison, trips by sea offer a great variety of civilized comforts. You can stretch your legs on the spacious decks, play games, swim, meet interesting people and enjoy good food--always assuming, of course, that the sea is calm. If it is not, and you are likely to get sea-sick, no form of transport could be worse. Even if you travel in ideal weather, sea journeys take a long time. Relatively few people are prepared to sacrifice up to a third of their holidays for the pleasure of travelling on a ship.Aeroplanes have the reputation of being dangerous and even hardened travellers are intimidated by them. They also have the grave disadvantage of being the most expensive form of transport. But nothing can match them for speed and comfort. Travelling at a height of 30,000 feet, far above the clouds, and at over 500 miles an hour is an exhilarating experience. You do not have to devise
ways of taking your mind off the journey, for an aeroplane gets you to your destination rapidly. For a few hours, you settle back in a deep armchair to enjoy the flight. The real escapist can watch a free film show and sip champagne on some services. But even when such refinements are not available, there is plenty to keep you occupied. An aeroplane offers you an unusual and breathtaking view of the world. You soar effortlessly over high mountains and deep valleys. You really see the shape of the land. If the landscape is hidden from view, you can enjoy the extraordinary sight of unbroken cloud plains that stretch out for miles before you, while the sun shines brilliantly in a clear sky. The journey is so smooth that there is nothing to prevent you from reading or sl-ee-ping. However you decide to spend your time, one thing is certain: you will arrive at your destination fresh and uncrumpled. You will not have to spend the next few days recovering from a long and arduous journey.

Traveling by Train or by Plane
1. 我们出远门总要坐火车或飞机
2. 坐火车和坐飞机各有什么利弊
3.
你的结论如何
When we go on a businetrip, we will be faced with the choice
of traveling by train or by plane. Before ma-ki-ng the right choice, we had better
make a close comparison and contrast of them.
First of all, a train
will take us to our target railway station. Also, a plane will take us to the
target airport. Second, in a train we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the
countryside. Likewise, in a plane we can command a good view of fields,
buildings, mountains and even plains of clouds. Despite these similarities, they
differ in the following aspects. First, a train ticker is cheap. Most of us can
afford it. However, a plane ticket is about twice as expensive as a train
ticket. Most of us grudge paying for it. Besides, it is safer to travel by
train. If the train gets some trouble, we survive by jumping out of it. On the
contrary, if we travel by plane, we have to ask God to bleus. However, it
takes us longer time to travel by train than by plane.
Therefore, it
depends which transportation tool we should choose. If we just want to save
money, we will travel by train. But if we want to save time, we will turn to the
plane.
