暑假里，爸爸和妈妈带我去了中国的最南端——北海涠洲岛旅游，听说这是一个还没完全开发的半原始岛屿，还是中国最年轻的火山岛。登岛的第一天，我们就去了火山地质公园，这是最值得去的一个景点，那里有很多珍贵的植物，丰富的火山遗迹，还有我从未见过的火山怪虫，它的头和尾是一样的，两头都长着触角，还有三对脚，火山石上爬满了这种怪虫，只要人一走近，就嗖的一下全钻岩石缝里去了。
地质公园的门口还有一个博物馆，里面有很多的海螺。有长鼻螺，它长着又细又长的尖“鼻子”；有蜘蛛螺，它长了八只角，真像一只大蜘蛛；还有金斧凤凰螺，真像一一把大斧头，还有很多的珊瑚标本，真不愧是拥有中国品种最多的海底珊瑚群岛。

好不容易雨停了，我和妈妈就迫不及待地去了第一个景点“贝壳滩”。
一跨进贝壳滩的大门，凉爽的海风便扑面而来，一下子把人们的烦恼吹得无影无踪。我们走向了沙滩，把脚放进了海水里。只要海水一退下，就会有许多小贝壳留在脚上，怪不得叫贝壳滩呢。我站在沙滩上，抬头望去就是一片蔚蓝的`天空，像一块刚洗干净的玻璃，明亮极了。

今天，我和妈妈先从上海坐飞机到北海市，再坐游轮来到了美丽的涠洲岛上。我们一下游轮，就看到全岛绿树环绕。我们先去了涠洲岛火山国家地质公园，这是我第一次看到火山，我心情激动不已。接着，我们又来到了鳄鱼山景区，我原来以为鳄鱼山上肯定有鳄鱼，可是一条鳄鱼都没有看见，只是鳄鱼山长得像一条鳄鱼，我有点小失落。不知不觉，我们就走到了火山口，这里的火山岩石千姿百态，全部是红褐色。我想：“这就是大自然的杰作啊！这里的石头肯定被火山喷发的熔浆烧过。”我看到海浪拍打在岩石上，真的是十分壮观。后来我们还去了月亮湾、猪仔岭……每个景点是多么的让人流连忘返啊！

涠洲岛一带海水很清，走在海边，能清晰地看到水底。海滩很干净，有的地方沙滩软软的，沙子又白又细，找不到一块石头或一个贝壳，踩上去就像踩在棉花上一样。我经过沙滩时，都要脱下鞋子来享受这软绵绵的“沙棉毯”。有的海滩上，沙子里有很多小小的珊瑚礁，踩上去就像踩在小石子上，脚底痒痒的，让人老想笑。小珊瑚礁奇形怪状，有像数字的，有像字母的，有像树枝的，还有像家具的，十分有趣。
