作为国际交往的语言，英语的作用很大。在联合国，英语是几种通用语言之一，而且使用得最多。在国际航空、航海和体育界，英语是不可缺少的交际工具。在国际贸易中，英语也是最重要的媒介，连西德和日本的出口工业都要用它。在科技界，英语又是国际性语言。

刚开学的时候，由于刚刚分的班，老师也都换成新的老师，学生喜欢学习、模仿。但是，经过这一个月我发现，学生们好奇心逐渐减弱。随着学习难度的增加，学生产生了消极情感，没有兴趣，甚至厌学。
在这一个月的学习中，我对学生学习英语的要求过于严格不能注意到学生的差异性，没有发现他们理解语言的快慢程度，最终导致有的学生吃得饱，有的学生吃不饱。吃不饱的那部分学生就会产生以下情绪：上课或讲练习的时候，就会马虎，注意力不集中。我还发现有些知识点讲过后，有的甚至操练了多遍，反反复复强调了，学生仍没有掌握，时间长了学生的学习兴趣不见了。
从以上几个问题中，我体会到：学生学习语言的潜力是因人而异的，有差别是正常的，要教好每一个学生，但不能要求每一个学生都一样、一个模式，不能要求学生都按一个模式去发展，而是开发学生不同的潜能，发展学生学英语的各方面潜力。
针对以上问题，在今后的工作当中，我要注意以下几点：
一、在教学的过程中首先要把握重难点。如果无法很好的把握重难点。则会对重点知识的讲授蜻蜓点水，导致学生也无法分清重难点。学生在学习的过程中把超多的时间花费在零散知识上，而忽视了重之之重。
二、其次语法讲解必须要清楚，透彻。在讲解重点语法的过程。中，要学生造句子，让组长进行讲解，然后互相学习，充分发挥小组的作用，让学生多练习，发现错误及时纠正。
三、应加强学生的对话强度，鼓励不开口说英语的学生开口。有些学生是对自己不自信，所以当学生出现错误的时候应微笑着让他坐下，然后再纠正错误。
四、八年级英语教学单词仍然是基础。我认为就应打好学生的单词基础。在讲授的过程中，不仅仅要学生掌握基本的单词知识，还要和他们一齐寻找记忆单词的好方法。
五、培养学生们的课文背诵潜力。严格要求有潜力的学生背诵课文。基础差的学生要求他们熟读课文，这样能够培养他们的英语语感。
六、充分利用好课堂笔记本和纠错本，要让学生及时纠错，及时复习。

根据教学大纲，结合学生实际情况，制定有效地教学策略，充分备好课。上课时做到精讲多练，真正把时间还给学生，多用启发性语言组织课堂教学，努力向“互动式教学模式”发展，让学生在轻松活跃的氛围中学到知识，做到“玩中学，学中玩”，这种教学模式是很受初中阶段学生欢迎的。
在词汇和语法教学中，要把握重难点，以学生为主体。讲解要清楚透彻，通俗易懂，切忌贪多贪快而导致学生难以消化理解，影响其学习信心。课余时间多与学生沟通交流，及时了解学生的困难，及时辅导，加深记忆。
每上完一个单元，要布置适量的针对性练习，反馈教学效果，巩固所学知识。及时总结学习的得失，合理评价学生，肯定他们的努力和进步，并提出不足，及时改正。做到以上几点，我相信能学好英语，为八年级学习打下坚实的基础。
