A Mouse In My House
Yesterday, when I was doing my homework in my room, I saw a small mouse scurrying across the floor. I was shocked and didn't know what to do. It was my first time seeing a mouse in my house!
At first, I was scared because I had heard that mice can be dirty and carry diseases. I didn't want it to touch any of my things or make a mess in my house. I quickly ran to tell my mom about the mouse. She calmed me down and told me not to worry too much.
My mom explained that mice often come into houses in search of food and warmth. They are just looking for a safe place to live. She told me that we should try to catch it and release it outside, so it can find a new home where it won't cause any trouble.
We set up a trap with some cheese to try and catch the mouse. We waited patiently, but the mouse was too clever and managed to take the cheese without getting caught. It seemed like it was always one step ahead of us!
After a few failed attempts, my mom decided to call the pest control company. They came and set up traps around the house to catch the mouse. They also checked for any holes or gaps in the walls where the mouse might have been getting in. They sealed up all the openings to prevent more mice from coming in.
Finally, after a few days, we caught the mouse in one of the traps. The pest control company took it away and released it far away from our house. I was relieved that the mouse was gone and wouldn't cause any more trouble.
From this experience, I learned that it's important to keep our house clean and make sure there are no openings for mice to come in. I also learned that we should try to handle situations calmly and seek help when needed. I hope I never see another mouse in my house again!

A Mouse In My House
Last week, I had an unexpected visitor in my house - a little mouse! It was quite an adventure trying to catch it and get it out of my house.
When I first saw the mouse, I was surprised and a bit scared. I didn't know what to do, but I knew I couldn't let it roam freely in my house. I quickly called my dad for help.
My dad came to my room and together we tried to chase the mouse away. We opened all the doors and windows, hoping that it would find its way out. However, the mouse seemed to be enjoying its little adventure and didn't want to leave. It ran around the room, hiding under my bed and behind the furniture.
After a while, my dad came up with an idea. He brought out a box and placed some cheese inside as bait. We waited patiently, hoping that the mouse would be tempted by the smell of the cheese and enter the box. Surprisingly, it worked! The mouse went into the box to eat the cheese and my dad quickly closed the lid.
Now that we had caught the mouse, we needed to figure out what to do with it. We didn't want to harm it, so we decided to release it outside, far away from our house. We carefully carried the box outside and opened it, watching as the mouse scurried away into the bushes.
Although it was a little scary to have a mouse in my house, it was also an interesting experience. I learned that sometimes we have unexpected visitors, and it's important to handle the situation calmly and find a solution. I also realized the importance of keeping our house clean and organized to prevent mice and other pests from coming in.
Now, I make sure to close all the doors and windows tightly and keep my room tidy. I hope I won't have any more surprise visitors in the future, but if I do, I will know what to do!
