英语童话故事 篇一:The Little Mermaid
Once upon a time, in the deep blue sea, there lived a beautiful mermaid named Ariel. She had long flowing red hair and a voice as melodious as the ocean waves. Ariel was always curious about the world above the water and often dreamt of what it would be like to walk on land.
One day, while exploring a shipwreck, Ariel discovered a statue of a handsome prince. She instantly fell in love with him and wished to be with him forever. Determined to make her dream come true, Ariel sought the help of the sea witch, Ursula.
Ursula agreed to help Ariel, but in return, she demanded her voice. Ariel hesitated but eventually agreed, believing that true love would conquer all. Ursula granted Ariel a pair of legs, and she emerged from the sea.
As Ariel stepped onto land, she quickly realized that she could no longer speak. She tried to communicate with the prince through gestures and expressions, but he couldn't understand her. The more time she spent with him, the more she longed for her voice back.
Unfortunately, the prince fell in love with another princess who had found Ariel's voice trapped in a seashell. Heartbroken, Ariel returned to the sea, desperate to get her voice back. She confronted Ursula, who revealed her true intentions of using Ariel's voice to manipulate the prince.
With the help of her underwater friends, Ariel defeated Ursula and reclaimed her voice. She then realized that true love and happiness could only be found by being true to oneself. Ariel returned to the prince, but this time, she didn't need her voice to win his heart. He fell in love with her for who she was, not for what she could or couldn't say.
From that day forward, Ariel and the prince lived happily together, both on land and under the sea. Ariel learned that it's important to be true to oneself and that love will find its way, no matter the obstacles.
英语童话故事 篇二:The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, there were three little pigs named Peter, Paul, and Percy. They lived in a small cottage near the woods. One day, their mother told them it was time to build their own houses and go out into the world.
Peter, being the eldest and the most responsible, decided to build his house out of bricks. He knew it would take longer, but he wanted to ensure it would be strong and sturdy. Paul, the middle brother, chose to build his house out of wood. He thought it would be quicker and easier. Percy, the youngest and most carefree, decided to build his house out of straw. He wanted to finish quickly and spend more time playing.
As time went on, a sly and hungry wolf named Wally noticed the three little pigs. He saw Percy's house made of straw and thought it would be an easy meal. Wally approached the house and with one big huff, he blew the house down. Percy quickly ran to Peter's house, seeking safety.
The wolf then came to Paul's house made of wood. He huffed and puffed but couldn't blow it down. However, the house wasn't strong enough to withstand Wally's determination. Paul and Percy ran to Peter's house, hoping it would be their sanctuary.
When the wolf arrived at Peter's house made of bricks, he huffed and puffed, but the house remained standing strong. Frustrated, Wally gave up and ran away, never to bother the three little pigs again.
Peter, Paul, and Percy learned an important lesson that day. Peter's patience and hard work paid off, and his house remained standing. Paul realized that sometimes taking shortcuts can lead to disaster. Percy understood the importance of putting in effort and not taking things for granted.
From that day forward, the three little pigs lived happily in their strong and secure brick house. They knew that by working together and making wise choices, they could overcome any challenge that came their way. And so, their story serves as a reminder that perseverance, wisdom, and teamwork are the keys to a happy and successful life.
