Today we are enjoying such fine weather. The sun shines brightly and warmly. In fact we can hardly find a better day during the cold winter time. I’m feeling happy, very happy that just before christmas and the new year I finally got this opportunity to prove and also to know who I am and what I can do. Please know highly honored ladies and gentlemen your recognition and appreciation of me will be my greatest honor and pleasure. I know on this special occasion you have revceived floods of greetings and wishes for the coming Christmas and new year. Anyhow I wanna wish all the ladies and gentlemen in this hall a merry christmas and a happy new year.
My topic today is about time and money. This is a very old topic and maybe has long been out of time but this is also a topic nobody can really avoid.
Time is more valuable than money
There goes a very famous saying, and especially among those business people, that is, time is money. But in my opinion, time is more valuable than money. You see, the money we have lost can be gained again, but the time we have wasted can not be regained. Moreover, sometimes a person can exist at least for a while without money, but nothing can be done without time, just as no one can live without air.
However time is something that is invisible and men tend
to waste their time unconsciously. Without anything to do, they will feel life is dull and meaningless.
Few men can live to 100 years. It seems fairly long but in fact it’s rather short. Just imagine how many things can a man accomplish in such a short period. Hence we should use our valuable time properly to do our work well. We will race with time. We will study and work hard and never waste even a single of minute.

Nowadays, everything is changing unpredictable. And all of us seem to pay more attention to the others, to the society or to the things on the other side of the earth. But have we ever thought about those questions: What s the most terrified thing for me? Could I ever fight with my bad manners and did I ever communicate with myself? Maybe you ll think that I ve lost my mind asking those questions, but guys wemodern people do need this ability self-criticism or self-insight. Chinese people have pursued our set way of the aim of life as to be a man and hold a family then contribute to society from
ancient times. According to this, we can know obviously that to be a man has been regarded as the thing that a responsible adult should deal with, or we should say, aspire to be firstly. As far as I could concern, to be a man not only means to show high moral standards, but to get well known about ourselves, yet we could hardly reach this standards by now because of the age or the lack of experience of living; however, things we can do would be more than just wandering around. One who knows his own strength and that of the enemy is invincible in battle; all I want to say is that This Is Me is not just making a self-introducing or emphasizing, the speech I made is not talking about my personality or inner-quality, it is a slogan or an aphorism, which always warning us that: get to know ourselves and to be a man.
