From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;

But I,with mournful tread,

通过批阅五六单元检测题，我发现许多学生的书面表达失分特别多，原因是他们写出的句子不是“汉语式”，就是语法出错。由此我认为一定要想方设法扩大学生的词汇量，从而提高学生的写作水*。

有人说“不学习语言规则、不掌握相当数量的词汇，英语应用能力就是空中楼阁”，确实如此。因此在英语教学中，一定要求学生掌握一定的词汇，让学生熟悉相应的读音规则，熟悉词汇的拼写规则，单词的音、形、意三者有效的结合在一起，解决记忆单词的困难，突破学英语的瓶颈。再有就是让学生多读，每天都找出至少15分钟的时间来读英语，哪怕是读以前做过的练习题，也对他们的写作大有帮助。
