经过长达一年的“烹制”,旨在解决外国奥运观众点菜难题的《中文菜单英文译法》终于正式“出炉”,即将被送各国来华外宾的餐桌前。《中文菜单英文译法》是为提高奥运会期间服务接待水平,规范北京市饭店业、餐饮业菜单英文译法,而由北京市人民政府外事办公室和北京旅游局编辑出版,对中国常见的2000余个菜品、主食小吃、甜点、酒类的'名字做了英文的翻译。
