一、设计意图
据有关资料表明：21世纪英语的发展具有全球化的特征，到2020年世界上有85%以上的国际电话要用英语通话，有85%以上的信件、电报和电传要用英语书写，有90％以上的科技论著首先要用英语发展，有95％以上的电脑信息要用英语处理……英语对于现在的孩子，21世纪的公民参与未来社会，竞争有着何等重要的作用。
幼儿期是学习语言的最佳时期，为了抓住这一语言发展的关键期，我园开展了智慧鸟英语的学习。我班孩子已是学习此教材的第三年了，孩子们在学习中兴趣一直十分高昂。为了向家长展示孩子们的学习情况，取得家长的配合与支持，我班开展了一次英语开放日活动。旨在让家长了解孩子们在园学习英语的情况，并能将一人学习英语的快乐变成全家人的快乐。
